How to Download Stabicad for Free and Start Designing

If you want to try Stabicad for free, you can download the latest version from BIMme, the support portal of Trimble MEP. In this article, we will show you how to download Stabicad for free and start designing your MEP projects.
Step 1: Register for a BIMme account
To download Stabicad for free, you need to have a BIMme account. BIMme is the support portal where you can find the latest Stabicad version, contact support, access training and e-learning, and manage your contacts and licenses.
To register for a BIMme account, go to https://www.stabiplan.com/en-us/support/bimme/ and click on "Register". You will need to fill in some basic information, such as your name, email address, company name and country. You will also need to agree to the terms of use and privacy statement of Trimble.
After you register, you will receive an email with a link to activate your account. Click on the link and set a password for your account. You can now log in to BIMme with your email address and password.
Step 2: Download Stabicad for free
Once you log in to BIMme, you will see a tab called "Downloads". This is where you can find the latest Stabicad version available for download. Every month, Trimble releases a new version of Stabicad with new functionality, updates and improvements.
To download Stabicad for free, click on the "Download" button next to the latest version. You will see a pop-up window with some information about the download size, system requirements and installation instructions. Click on "Download" again to start the download process.
The download may take some time depending on your internet speed. You can check the progress of the download in your browser or in your downloads folder. Once the download is complete, you will have a zip file containing the Stabicad installer.
Step 3: Install Stabicad on your computer
To install Stabicad on your computer, you need to unzip the zip file that you downloaded. You can use any software that can extract zip files, such as WinZip or 7-Zip. After you unzip the file, you will see a folder called "StabiCAD". Open this folder and double-click on the file called "setup.exe". This will launch the Stabicad installer.

Step 4: Start designing with Stabicad
Congratulations! You have successfully downloaded and installed Stabicad for free on your computer. You can now start designing your MEP projects with Stabicad.
To launch Stabicad, go to your Start menu and look for "StabiCAD". Click on it and choose whether you want to work in Revit or AutoCAD. Stabicad works seamlessly with both platforms and allows you to switch between them easily.
